God of wisdom and mercy, grant us patience to listen; compassion to be open to other views and opinions; generosity to forgive and grace to change. As you taught us to love our dear neighbor, we pray that you give us strength to be healing instruments of unity and reconciliation.
Day 64: Sunday, March 23
Loving Creator, in the renewal of Spring I commit to recognizing the incredible beauty around me. I pledge to re-double my efforts to live lightly on Earth and protect all ecosystems.
Day 65: Monday, March 24
On this feast of St. Oscar Romero, we move forward in hope, knowing that prophetic love and action can overcome oppression and anxiety.
Day 66: Tuesday, March 25
All-loving God, we are heartbroken by the end of USAID. Protect those who suffer from malnutrition, HIV, and social unrest. Empower leaders with compassion to restart live-saving programs.
Day 67: Wednesday, March 26
We fervently pray that armed forces and governmental leaders commit to
non-violent tactics in solving political challenges, especially in Syria,
the Congo, Haiti, and Sudan.
Day 68: Thursday, March 27
God of Justice, fill the wealthy with overwhelming compassion for those who have little. Fill them with a sense of responsibility, to keep only what they need, and to provide life-giving care to those who suffer.
Day 69: Friday, March 28
Welcoming God, we pray for those impacted by the closure of our borders, unable to return home due to threats to their lives. Transform the hearts of leaders to establish just and humane immigration reform.
Day 70: Saturday, March 29
God of Compassion, may we respond in love to our neighbors living on the street. Empower us to stand up for housing and economic justice, mental health and addiction resources for all.
