100 Days of Prayer (s22): Days 57-63

Begin with the prayer below, then go to the prayer for the day.

God of wisdom and mercy, grant us patience to listen; compassion to be open to other views and opinions; generosity to forgive and grace to change. As you taught us to love our dear neighbor, we pray that you give us strength to be healing instruments of unity and reconciliation.

Day 57: Sunday, March 16

Gracious God, across our world, we see human suffering in the faces of those struggling for democracy. May leaders’ hearts be touched by Your love, and our brothers and sisters have a sense of opportunity and hope for tomorrow.

Day 58: Monday, March 17

Today I pray for wisdom to break down the structures that oppress people based on their race, ethnicity, and gender. May decision makers recognize the plight of each person, as You do, and acknowledge their gifts and strengths.

Day 59: Tuesday, March 18

Faithful God, we pray that when our hope fades, and our spirit grows weary, we will put our trust in You. May Your gift of boundless love, guide us to renewal of spirit and continued effort to serve the dear neighbor.

Day 60: Wednesday, March 19

ST. JOSEPH’S DAY - Today I pray that we may serve our collective family through generous and unpretentious service. May St. Joseph’s example be an inspiration to become a reliable light in the darkness.

Day 61: Thursday, March 20

Compassionate God, we see the increasing number of people displaced by natural disasters, extreme weather patterns and environmental destruction. May we change our ways to lessen our contribution to climate change.

Day 62: Friday, March 21

Today, we pray for those in need. Open our hearts to recognize those hurting and guide our hands to serve them with grace —whether through a kind word, a gentle touch, or a simple act of comfort.

Day 63: Saturday, March 22

Inclusive God, I pray Your Spirit touch the hearts of our nation’s leaders. Open their minds that they see how much people are hurting due to their policies. May leaders take responsibility to protect all of human life.
