100 Days of Prayer (s22): Days 43-49

Begin with the prayer below, then go to the prayer for the day.

God of wisdom and mercy, grant us patience to listen; compassion to be open to other views and opinions; generosity to forgive and grace to change. As you taught us to love our dear neighbor, we pray that you give us strength to be healing instruments of unity and reconciliation.

Day 43: Sunday, March 2

Today I pray for U.S. federal employees who have lost their jobs. Guide them to next steps of returning to serve the nation or finding a new path forward. Protect the vulnerable who have lost services in drastic government reductions.

Day 44: Monday, March 3

Today I pray for all people who may feel their interests have been abandoned in the midst of conflict and war. I humbly request for You, God, to bring an end to conflict and a just and lasting peace to war-torn nations.

Day 45: Tuesday, March 4

Today I pray for every man, woman, or child who has gone missing in this country. Lord, please protect them from potential violence and abuse, and grant families peace by guiding their loved ones home.

Day 46: Wednesday, March 5

Today I pray for the migrants who have been detained by ICE, whose fates remain precariously undetermined. Give them courage in the midst of uncertainty and fear. Guide leaders to compassionate immigration reform.

Day 47: Thursday, March 6

Today I pray for the families who are forced to choose between buying groceries or paying rent because of inflation in the U.S. God of abundance, please provide a lifeline to those struggling to make ends meet.

Day 48: Friday, March 7

Today I pray for the farmers who keep our tables replenished with food. Beloved God, may they be protected with just wages, fair treatment and be recognized and respected as essential workers by the U.S. government.

Day 49: Saturday, March 8

Today I pray for every woman who is either trapped in or currently on the run from intimate partner violence. May Your loving grace comfort them in their darkest times and give them the strength to survive domestic abuse.
