100 Days of Prayer (s22): Days 29-35

Begin with the prayer below, then go to the prayer for the day.

God of wisdom and mercy, grant us patience to listen; compassion to be open to other views and opinions; generosity to forgive and grace to change. As you taught us to love our dear neighbor, we pray that you give us strength to be healing instruments of unity and reconciliation.

Day 29: Sunday, February 16

We pray for the safety of unhoused people in this country who are forced to

sleep on the streets because of our ongoing housing crisis or domestic violence.

May Your love and blessings lead them through the lowest points of their lives.

Day 30: Monday, February 17

Comforting One, please guide those who came into this country seeking

asylum or a better life for their families into safety. We pray that they are

protected from those who wish to harm them due to prejudice and fear.

Day 31: Tuesday, February 18

We pray to You, Creator, for an end to the natural disasters - whether they take

the form of wildfires or storms - that ravage our homes, especially those of our

most vulnerable populations.

Day 32: Wednesday, February 19

We pray for the Palestinians who are still under threat of displacement because

of greed and intolerance. We pray that they are able to rebuild their lives from

the rubble and to know peace after a year of bloodshed and chaos.

Day 33: Thursday, February 20

All of creation is made in Your likeness, beloved God, and we pray that those in

power recognize that no matter our skin color, faith, nationality, or gender, that

we are all the children of a Loving and Benevolent God.

Day 34: Friday, February 21

We pray for every teacher who works tirelessly to guide and nurture the next

generation of brilliant thinkers. We pray that the current Administration

recognizes the value the U.S. Department of Education offers for our future.

Day 35: Saturday, February 22

God of Peace, please grant relief to those living in poverty so that they may care

for themselves and their families. God of Justice, give wisdom to those living in

prosperity so that they may share their abundance with those in need.
